TREASURE COAST EARLY STEPS PROGRAM

On November 1, 2007, Easter Seals Florida, Inc. signed a contract with the Florida Department of Health Children's Medical Services to administer the Early Steps Contract in the Treasure Coast area.  This includes Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee, and Palm Beach Counties and is the third largest program in Florida.  Easter Seals Florida is a provider of Early Steps services in both Tampa Bay and the Florida Keys.

     The Early Steps Program provides guidance, support and developmental education to children ages birth to three with special developmental needs and their families that improve the functional and developmental skills of the child while strengthening family attachment, family stability, and resiliency that will lead to acceptance and understanding of their child’s special needs.
