More than 90 percent of Easter Seals Florida’s revenue supports local services for people with disabilities and special needs.

For 59 years Easter Seals Florida has been providing services that help children and adults with disabilities and other special needs gain greater independence.  Whether helping someone improve physical mobility, return to work or simply gain greater independence for everyday living, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities gain greater independence and achieve personal goals.  Our primary services include early intervention and therapy for infants and toddlers with disabilities and developmental delays, medical rehabilitation, job training and employment, inclusive child care, adult day health care services, and camping and recreation.  For the fiscal year ended August 31, 2008, services were provided directly to more than 6290 individuals through 21 programs statewide.

How Your Gifts Are Spent

As of August 31, 2008, combined functional expenses of $14,946,735 were allocated to:

•        Program Services (93%)
•        Fund Raising (4%)
•        Management and General (3%)

Program Services were allocated to:

•         Camp Challenge (5%)
•         Adult Services (15%)
•         Children’s Services (76%)
